Bindings are starting to be like potato chips this week....you can never stop with one! Yesterday, my sewing room was a heap of chaos. But, then I spent about 3 hours, with help, sewing 2 bindings. This morning, the first thing that I wanted to do when I woke up was sew! So, I did 2 MORE bindings this morning. Then, I had to stop sewing in order to cut more bindings. I'm now halfway through the binding on the quilt you see. I want to play some video games this afternoon, but if I finish those last 3 bindings before I do, I'll be able to go back to piecing tomorrow....Happy sewing!!!!

I learn to sew from my great grandmother my grandmother and my mother the one hand said everything one used a treadle one used in electrical machine. They were poor farmers and did not have the luxury of the stacks of material and fat quarters that I now possess. as result they used flour sacks and other things handled things pieces and scraps of clothes that didn't fit anymore and when my mother quilted she would not put on binding but extend the back of the quilt out so she could folded over a couple of times to make it create the binded look I find that if my backing compliments my quilt I do the same thing thought you might find it interesting

That sounds really interesting! I will have to give that a try on my next round of quilts!
